Film review ''To the Lighthouse''

But before I delve into the film review, I wanted to introduce you to Virginia Woolf's book called To the Lighthouse; a timeless work of art that was published way back in 1927 it explores the complexities ins and outs of human relationships and the passage of time. Set against the backdrop of the Isle of Skye in Scotland (in early 1900s) right before World War 1, the narrative unfolds over two pivotal days separated by a decade, chronicling the Ramsay family's interactions and their aspirations to visit a nearby lighthouse.
The film falls under drama section where they reflect the intense emotions and psychological experiences of its characters like Mr. Ramsay and Mr. Ramsay relationship or Mrs. Ramsay's and Lili Briscoe relationship, later on I'm going to explain how its highlighted in the movie.
Story is set in Cornwall, England, a change from the book's Isle of Skye, Scotland, where the family had their summer house. The timeline remains consistent with the novel, starting in the summer 1912. The movie follows the Ramsay family and their guests as they spend the summer going to the beach, eating breakfast together, playing games together, how would a perfect family be.
